The figures in the domestic segment in the raw and processed fisheries sector can reach Rs 1.5 lakh crore by the year 2020. In the next 4-5 years, the business in the domestic market can cross Rs 61 lakh crore.
The study says, “By the year 2020, there is a need to make a plan to reach this sector with exporters to two lakh crore rupees.”
