Eknath Khadse, a prominent BJP leader in Maharashtra, resigned from the party on Wednesday. Maharashtra BJP President Chandrakant Patil has approved it. Khadse will join the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) on Friday. He can be joined by NCP along with Beti Raksha and some supporters. It is also discussed that Khadse can be made the Minister of Agriculture from NCP quota in Uddhav government.
Khadse said – Not angry with BJP, resentment is with one person
In his resignation, Khadse has stated the reason for leaving the party as personal. But when the media questioned him, he said – I did not wish to leave the party, but have to leave because of one person. I complained to senior party leaders about this, but there was no hearing there, so I decided to leave the party.
Khadse said – In the last 4 years, the party had to suffer notoriety. I am not angry with the BJP, but on one person. Whatever was accused of me, it was investigated and nothing was found in it. The rest of the leaders were accused, they are given a clean chit, but not me. The resentment is from Devendra Fadnavis. I have the public behind me and I submitted my resignation and will join NCP. I have given 40 years to the party. When I was accused, at that time I myself told the CM that I am accusing me. After that, I got it tested, but nothing came out. “
