Petrol has become expensive even today for the second consecutive day. Oil marketing companies (OMC) on Friday increased the price of Petrol (Latest Petrol Rate) by 11 paise per liter. Significantly, in the last 13 days, petrol in the capital Delhi has become expensive by about one and a half rupees i.e. Rs 1.55 per liter. Petrol prices have increased 11 times in the last 13 days. On the other hand, diesel prices are still stable.
Where is the increase in petrol prices
Petrol has become costlier by 11 paise per liter in Delhi, on Friday, while Mumbai and Kolkata petrol has become costlier by 10 paise per liter. the price of petrol in Chennai has been increased by 9 paise per liter.
Petrol and diesel prices in four major metros
According to the website of Indian Oil, on Friday (28 August 2020). petrol sold in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata. Chennai at Rs 81.94, Rs 88.58, Rs 83.43, and Rs 84.91 per liter respectively. On the other hand, diesel sold in the four metros at Rs 73.56, Rs 80.11, Rs 77.06, and Rs 78.86 per liter respectively.
Crude oil price weakness
